NoteVault's code is published under the GNU General Public License v3.0 or later (see LICENSE).

In plain words:

  • You can use it, study it, modify it and share it, including for commercial purposes.
  • If you distribute a modified version, you must publish its source code under the same license.
  • The software is provided without warranty.

The documentation

The documentation (this site and the docs/ folder) is published under CC BY-SA 4.0.

“NoteVault” and its logo are not licensed with the code. You may fork the project, but a modified version must use another name. See TRADEMARK.md.

The code is free. Content packs sold separately (study paths, notes, exercises) are not part of this repository and are distributed under their own personal-use license.

Credits
